Today rise of social media website and app namely facebook and whatsapp is causing havoc in our country. Any tom dick and harry can become a member of this facebook and then post and comment.

The political parties in India think too high and mighty of themselves and are scuttling the voices of the citizen using this facebook. If a politician does not like what you post, they instruct facebook to register a case on you and restrict the account. That is, Facebook and Whatsapp operate in India going against the Constitution of India.These so-called social media websites and apps have infringed on the freedom of expression, speech that are constitutional rights of the Indian citizen.

Many community groups have erupted in facebook and whatsapp and are controlled by a few individuals with some political influence.

Whatsapp messages and groups are another nuisance in our society. Whatsapp messages can be used to harass people with lewd and indecent images and videos.

All and sundry make whatsapp group saying they provide matrimony services and post in facebook groups. From there they get some gullible members and then they target matrimony websites run by registered companies and ruin the businesses of these genuine websites by stealing the bride and groom profiles from registered websites and distributing to the whatsapp group members and making money. I am also a victim of the above said problems. Also when registered websites advertise in leading daily newspapers, the members of these whatsapp groups and facebook groups go and share snapshots of the advertisements and then admins of these groups call the registered websites and speak very nastily. Even community mahasabhas and sanghas are run by criminal minded goons and must be banned by the Government of India. Presidents of some of these community mahasabhas and sanghas are defaulters to private banks screwing up the business of the banks. And these sanghas and mahasabhas have further become dangerously powerful using facebook and whatsapp. This is only one of the examples of how Facebook and Whatsapp are killing genuine registered businesses in India.

Every housewife's kitchen has become a factory for all sorts of masala powders and all they do is post in Facebook or whatsapp and sell and this has increased black money leaps and bounds and this is not bothering any of the political party.

The government of India MUST BAN Facebook and Whatsapp in India to save registered businesses and to stop generation of black money.

I run a matrimony website for Kannada Smartha community called www.hoysalakarnatakabrahmins.com. This is a project of my company InvestigateAndCreate.com that is registered as a sole proprietorship company. I have to spend atleast Rs.30000 every month to get registrations and for every Rs.1000/- subscription fees I get, I have to pay GST taxes. Every month I file my gst returns. There are many months when my website is in loss and I have to spend my own money to advertise in newspapers.
Committee members of mahasabhas and sanghas of communities are speaking badly of my websites. It is a pain to do any business in India today because of Facebook and whatsapp and I hope citizen and Government of India realise this at the earliest and ban Facebook and whatsapp in India and save the economy of India.
